No responses meet specifications. Speech Critiques Instructions: Go to http://www.youtube.com/Links to an external site. and enter “speeches” and/or “student speeches” as a search term. Select and view a formal speech. Do not select jokes, bloopers, etc. Select a speech that is clearly intended to be taken seriously. Critique the speech based on what you are learning in the class. In your initial response (Due by Thursday): Post a link to the speech you viewed. Post your critique of the speech. In your responses to your peers’ initial postings, (Due by Sunday night): view the speech and offer your observations of the speech and of your peer’s critique.

I like how she starts off about how fake our world has become due to how we can alter our bodies with laser surgery or fix our noses with surgery. I like her personal experience with body imagine issues and how she lets inside her world to let us know that she would quietly try to navigate her fluctuating weight and how people told her that she wasn't allowed to talk about her weight. It shows that she has experienced this first hand rather than being a person giving a speech about body image.
